Dr. Estrellita H. Redmon -March Women With Heart Honoree
About our 2018 Women with Heart Honoree: Dr. Redmon joined St. Vincent’s HealthCare in July 2014 as Vice President of Clinical Integration. In March 2016, she became President of St. Vincent’s Medical Group and Clinical Integration where she is responsible for transitioning St. Vincent’s HealthCare to a regional clinically integrated system of care. Dr. Redmon actively engages with physicians within the healthcare system to adopt value-based models of care and to serve as leaders in healthcare transformation. She is the executive sponsor for St. Vincent’s health information exchange and their population health analytics platform. In August 2016, she implemented a transitional care clinic to support transitions of care for patients and has plans for another model clinic.
Since arriving in Jacksonville, Dr. Redmon provides care to the uninsured community through St. Vincent’s Mobile Health Outreach Ministry and is a member of the We Care Jacksonville Board of Directors. In May 2016, she authored the book, Victors Over Leukemia, and in September 2017, received the Women of Influence Award from the Jacksonville Business Journal.
Prior to joining St. Vincent’s, Dr. Redmon was the Medical Director and Vice President at Capital Health Plan in Tallahassee, FL with direct oversight of many operations, including the employed physician group, urgent care, pharmacy services, colon screening, clinical informatics liaisons, utilization management, and eye care service centers.
Dr. Redmon is board certified in Internal Medicine and Health Care Quality Management. She is a fellow in the American College of Physicians and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
