City Of Jacksonville Launches Get Covered Jax! Campaign

The City of Jacksonville has launched Get Covered Jax!, a public education campaign to help Jacksonville residents without health insurance get covered.

Approximately 120,000 individuals – or roughly 12 percent of the adult population under the age of 65 – are currently uninsured in Duval County. And, from November 1 to January 15, eligible individuals can enroll in a private healthcare plan through the Florida Health Insurance Marketplace.

The campaign seeks to educate citizens about the benefits of having health insurance, eligibility, coverage options available, best practices for navigating the Marketplace, and resources to help consumers through the process.
